Hands-on pasta masterclass for two at the Jamie Oliver Cookery School, where you make fresh pasta and a sauce to serve with it.
Jamie Oliver Cookery School is running a Pasta Masterclass for Two on Monday 26 October at their Oxford Street site. It's a hands-on session, so you're not just watching from the side — you'll be getting your hands in the dough from the start.
The class is led by a professional chef chosen by Jamie Oliver. You'll start by making fresh pasta dough from scratch, then roll it out and shape it into a few different varieties, including lasagne sheets and fettuccine. Once the pasta is ready, you'll whip up a sauce to go with it, and then sit down to eat what you've made. It's a full cycle in one go: making the dough, shaping the pasta, cooking the sauce, and then tasting the result.
If you're not doing this as a pair, there's a family version called Kids Learn for Free: Pasta Master, so it's not just for adults. The school runs practical classes inspired by recipes from around the world, and this one is all about the Italian classics. The Oxford Street location is right in the West End, so it's an easy one to get to if you're coming from across the city.
