Halloween escape rooms with live actors at four No Escape venues across London, with nine horror and thriller stories to solve in 60 minutes.
No Escape is running its Halloween season across four London venues from 23 October to 1 November, with nine horror-led escape rooms to choose from. Each one is built around its own thriller storyline, and every venue brings its darkest characters to life with live actors. The stories draw on classic horror figures and tales: The Demon Barber plays in the bloody world of Sweeney Todd and Mrs Lovett, while The Darkest Hour casts you as an MI6 agent racing to avert a nuclear catastrophe.
Across the four sites, there are nine different ways to test your nerve. At Victoria, you'll find The Gates of Hell inside the Purgatory Bar. Oxford Street has The Dentist and The Demon Barber. Aldgate is the busiest, with The Haunted Toy Store, The Butcher, The Orphanage, and The Witch's Curse. And over in Holloway, there's The Killer and The Darkest Hour. Every room gives your team 60 minutes to search, decipher clues, and complete the mission.

Co-founder Darrell Johnston says the rooms are designed to unsettle players year round, but Halloween elevates everything: the atmosphere shifts before the game even begins, and live actors bring an unpredictable energy that no set or sound effect can reproduce. At Purgatory Bar, the experience stretches into a whole evening, pairing The Gates of Hell with theatrical cocktails. Tickets are £40, and the season runs from 23 October to 1 November.
