Interactive gardening workshops for children in small groups, with planting, harvesting and a craft to take home.
Little green fingers are coming to Fulham Palace on Saturday 13 February 2027, with interactive gardening workshops for children run in the Palace's walled garden. It's a day split into three age-specific sessions: 10:00-11:00 for the 3-4s, 11:30-12:30 for the 5-7s, and 14:00-15:00 for the 8-and-overs. Each one is kept small, with up to ten children per group and an adult leading the way.
The sessions are built around getting kids stuck in. They're described as a mix of gardening challenges, games, hands-on activities and creative crafts, all designed to bring the wonders of nature to life. The focus is on the joy of growing vegetables and flowers, from planting seeds to harvesting your own produce, so it's as much about the process as the result. Every session ends with a handmade craft to take home.

Because they're in the walled garden, the workshops run in wet weather, so you don't have to worry about a bit of February rain putting a stop to things. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout. If you're looking for something to do with the little ones on a Saturday, it's a good way to get them outdoors and working with their hands in one of London's proper gardens.
