Free live Jazz FM broadcast with Danielle Perry and guest saxophonist Mali Sheard at The Jazz Social, the EFG London Jazz Festival hangout.
Jazz FM is broadcasting live from The Jazz Social on Friday 13 November, with Danielle Perry hosting and Mali Sheard as the special guest. It's part of the EFG London Jazz Festival, and the broadcast starts at 10:00am.
If you're not familiar with it, The Jazz Social is the festival's dedicated hangout, a pop-up venue near the Barbican Centre. It's designed as a home base for the whole run, programming intimate live performances, one-off events, live radio broadcasts and family-friendly activities. There's a record shop on site and a festival bar that stays open until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays, with happy hour from 5 to 7pm and secret piano sets throughout the week. For 2026, it's hosting The Official Blue Note Records Pop-Up Store, curated by Everything Jazz, which stocks collectable Blue Note vinyl, exclusive branded merchandise and limited-edition Japanese imports.
This particular session puts Danielle Perry on the air with Mali Sheard as the guest, and since it's a live broadcast, you can catch it as it happens. It's one of the more accessible ways to get involved with the festival's programming without needing a ticket for a formal concert.
