Healing Circle

The Healing Circle is back at Atlantis Spiritual Centre on Wednesday 28 October, starting at 19:30. It's an open session, which means it's open to anyone who wants to drop in rather than a closed group. The whole idea is to share healing energy and restore balance in a supportive, warm and nurturing environment — a chance to step away from the everyday stresses and focus on wellbeing for a while.

One of the best things about it is that you don't need any previous knowledge or experience to take part. Whether you're already familiar with energy healing, like Reiki or Rahaani, or you've never heard of it before, you're welcome. The only thing they ask for is an open mind. The organiser describes it as a space where people come to share positive energy, support one another and recharge.

That's also a good way to get a feel for the venue itself. Atlantis Spiritual Centre is a modern community centre for like-minded people with a shared interest in inner development and healing. It was founded by Lynn Saunders in 2012 and is run by her and her team, who describe it as a relaxing, calm, peaceful and inspiring venue. It's not just for the circle, either — they run workshops, classes, support groups and counselling services, and there are chill-out rooms where you can just unwind.

If you're in the mood for a quiet evening, it's a straightforward one to join. The session runs from 19:30 at the centre, which you'll find in the Garden Centre, Enfield, EN2 9DG, and it costs £10.
