Free lunchtime concert by The Damian Bresnan Latin Quartet presenting his debut album 'Llar' at The Jazz Social, the EFG London Jazz Festival's pop-up venue.
The Damian Bresnan Latin Quartet play The Jazz Social on Tuesday 10 November, as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival. It's a lunchtime concert, so it's one of those gigs you can fit into a working day rather than waiting for the evening.
Bresnan is bringing Llar. Volume I, his debut studio album, to the stage. It's the result of a year of focused work: throughout 2025 he wrote, recorded and refined the sound, and the collection sketches the landscapes and textures of his home in Mallorca — mountains, beaches, rivers and birds, each a portrait of the island where he grew up. He chose to wait until 2026 to bring the music live, and now he's presenting it with his quintet.
The venue is The Jazz Social, the EFG London Jazz Festival's pop-up venue and bar, returning for its third year in the Citypoint complex at 1 Ropemaker Street, EC2V 9HT — a stone's throw from the Barbican. It's open from Monday 9 to Sunday 22 November and programmes free daytime events, live radio broadcasts, DJ sets, family activities and a record shop curated by Everything Jazz, with a weekday Happy Hour and secret piano sets. This concert is one of those free daytime slots.
