Intimate women-in-jazz mixer with a live set by vocalist Naima Adams at The Jazz Social during the EFG London Jazz Festival.
Naima Adams performs at The Jazz Social on Thursday 12 November, as part of the Women in Jazz mixer during the EFG London Jazz Festival. The night is hosted by Women in Jazz, an initiative founded in 2019 that brings together artists, DJs, producers, writers, broadcasters and music industry creatives for an intimate mixer during the festival, in a space to meet and connect across the jazz community.
Women in Jazz champions and develops women across jazz and beyond through artist development, music releases, live programming and cultural partnerships. Recent projects include the collaborative album Women in Jazz: Volume 1, which commissioned 12 artists, and partnerships with the Royal Albert Hall, Abbey Road Studios, Ronnie Scott's, Love Supreme and Wilderness. The initiative won the Jazz FM Collaboration of the Year Award 2025.
Naima Adams is a South London artist and vocalist whose sound melds contemporary R&B with finely layered vocal textures, personal storytelling and a soul-capturing tone. She'll be the live feature of the evening, performing within the mixer's social setting.
