Free drop-in session for families to build sculptures that move with air, exploring balance and motion through imaginative making.
Digital Kids: Wind play lab is running at the V&A South Kensington from Monday 26 to Friday 30 October, though there's a catch: the session can no longer go ahead on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 October due to industrial action, so it's really a Monday-to-Wednesday window. It's a playful drop-in session where families build sculptures that move with air, working through balance and motion with imaginative making. If you've got kids who like to tinker, this is exactly that sort of thing—building something and then seeing how it actually behaves when the wind hits it.
The lab was developed in collaboration with Shanti Bell, a Furniture and Placemaking Resident, and the Adobe Creative Residency is supported by the Adobe Foundation. It sits within the V&A's wider Digital Kids programme and forms part of their October Half term festival, so it's one of a few things they've got on for the break. It's suitable for ages five and over, and you'll need to stay with your child while they work.

Places are limited and allocated first come first served, so it's worth getting there early rather than rolling in late. You'll find it in the Digital Studio, inside the Learning Centre at the V&A South Kensington on Cromwell Road, SW7 2RL. It runs from 11:00 to 16:00 on the days it's on, and entry is free.
