Two-hour arm-knitting workshop to make a 75 x 125cm blanket with Woolly Mahoosive yarn, run by Something Good Workshops.
Something Good Workshops are running an arm knitting workshop at Something Good Workshops, 2 Carriage Way, London SE8 4BZ in Deptford, on Sunday 25 October. It's a session for two, so you'll be working on it with a friend, and you'll both leave with your own finished blanket.
The whole thing takes about two hours, and you'll be working with Woolly Mahoosive's acrylic 'Mahoosive' yarn. It's a vegan-friendly yarn, chunky enough that you use your arms as the needles instead of traditional knitting needles. You get to pick your colour from four: mustard yellow, lilac, light teal or peacock green. By the end, you'll have a blanket roughly 75 x 125cm.
Something Good Workshops was started by Emily and Jess in 2019, originally under the name MADEptford. It's a women-owned and women-run business that got going by spreading crafty joy and raising funds for the London Marathon, and they've kept that community spirit going. Every booking also donates 50p to Mental Health UK.
