Family fun day with a Samhain theme held at the Liverpool Irish Centre on Boundary Lane.
Samhain Family Fun Day is on at the Liverpool Irish Centre on Saturday 31 October, and it's exactly what the title says: a family afternoon built around the Samhain theme. If you're looking for something to do with the kids on the day, this is a good shout.
For those who aren't familiar, Samhain is the Gaelic festival that marks the end of the harvest and the beginning of the new year, and it's the root of what we now know as Halloween. The Irish Centre is a fitting spot for it, so it makes sense that they've put together a family day around the theme. It's an afternoon for all ages, so you can bring the whole lot along.
The day kicks off at 2pm, and it runs from there. It's a Saturday, so you've got the rest of the weekend to recover if you've spent the whole afternoon on your feet. Entry is £5, which is a fair price for a family afternoon out in the city.
