Paranormal investigation night hosted by DeadLive in the haunted Old Police Station on Lark Lane, with no actors or staged scares.
DeadLive are hosting a ghost hunt at The Old Police Station on Lark Lane on Saturday 11 December, from 9 pm to 2 am. It's a five-hour paranormal investigation in a building that's earned a reputation as one of Merseyside's most haunted.
The station dates back to 1885 and still holds rooms that keep its history close to the surface: the original cell, the sports hall, the former morgue, and the hub room. Over the years it's held everyone from petty criminals to infamous inmates, including the Victorian poisoner Florence Maybrick, whose spirit is said to linger and whose cell the investigation takes in. Those who've spent time here talk about sudden chills, the sound of rattling chains, and the presence of a 'Mourning Officer' — a constable locked in an eternal patrol.
DeadLive run the night by splitting the group up, so you're not just following a crowd. They work with dowsing rods, table tipping, and Ouija boards alongside quiet observation and paranormal equipment. It's a calm, structured evening with no actors or staged scares, which makes it as easy to get into for first-timers as it is for seasoned investigators.
