Musical comedy duo Flo & Joan present their brand-new stage show With Feeling, exploring questions about music and comedy in their signature deadpan style.
Flo & Joan are back at the Liverpool Playhouse Theatre on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November, with their new stage show With Feeling. It's a two-night run, 7:30pm each night, so you've got a choice of the Friday or the Saturday.
The show has a specific hook: they take a real band's setlist and use it as the basis for their own performance, ruminating as they go on questions like 'what is music?', 'how do you be a band?' and 'is it comedy?'. It's all delivered in their signature sharp-tongued, deadpan style, and it runs an hour and fifty minutes including the interval. It's recommended for ages 16 and over, with adult themes.
Flo & Joan are a critically acclaimed musical comedy duo who've spent the last few years working their way across the UK's biggest stages. They've appeared on Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Performance and Comic Relief's Red Nose Day Live 2023, and they filmed their own comedy special, Alive on Stage, for Amazon Prime. The List put them in a good light, writing that 'musical comedy hasn't been in such safe hands for years'.
