Monthly workshop led by Maura of Less is Maura, with a themed presentation and hands-on lab each month to organise photos and make albums.
Less is Maura is running a year-long workshop on organizing photos and making albums at Create Art Studio in Indianapolis. It runs on the second Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM, starting Thursday, January 8, and going through Thursday, December 10, with no session in July. It's for adults 18 and up.
Each session starts with a themed presentation inspired by Maura's own signature albums, followed by a hands-on working lab. The goal is to help you reclaim your memories and rediscover the joy behind your photos. By the end, you'll have a repeatable system to organize your photos, the know-how to maintain it monthly, and fresh ideas for album layouts. It's designed to lift the mental load that comes with memory-making.
Maura has given a TEDx Talk, The Masterpiece of a Simple Life, and the class draws on a quote from William Morris: "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful."
