Melbourne and Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated star Olga Koch presents an immersive, genre-defying comedy show.
Olga Koch brings Fat Tom Cruise to The Stand Comedy Club on Monday 12 October, as part of her 2026 tour. It's a comedy show that doesn't quite fit into one box — she describes it as immersive and genre-defying, and the title alone gives you a sense of the kind of territory she's playing with. The show is directed by Jet Vevers.
As for what it's actually about, Koch tells a story that she says isn't really her own, combing through recent history to piece it together. It's less a stand-up set in the traditional sense and more of a piece of theatre, and that's where the 'immersive' part comes in — it's designed to pull you into the world she's building on stage rather than just having you watch from the dark. The reviews have been strong, with five stars from The Telegraph, The Guardian and The Observer.
Koch is a Melbourne and Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee, and Fat Tom Cruise is part of a tour that's been on the road since February, when it kicked off with a residency at London's Soho Theatre. This is one of the dates it's picked up as it makes its way around the UK, so it's had a fair bit of time to settle in before it reaches Glasgow.
