Irish comedian Neil Delamere brings his new show Neil's On Wheels to the Glasgow International Comedy Festival at The Stand Comedy Club.
Neil Delamere brings his new show, Neil's On Wheels, to The Stand Comedy Club on Sunday 14 March 2027, as part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival. It's a brand-new show, and he's arriving in Glasgow on the back of a 120-date sell-out tour.
If the name doesn't ring a bell, you've almost certainly seen him on the telly. He's one of Ireland's most loved comedians, and you'll recognise him from Live at the Apollo, Countdown, The Chase and Richard Osman's House of Games. The show itself trades in tall tales and razor-sharp observations about what it takes to keep the show on the road, so it's a good bet you'll get a fair bit of the life of a touring comic in there.
The critics have been on board, too. The Scotsman called him a 'stand-up comic master', The Sunday Times described him as a 'wryly brilliant live performer', and The Irish Times praised the lightning speed of his wit. Between the tall tales and the sharp observations, it's that quick-fire delivery that seems to be his thing.

It's a Sunday night, so it's a good one to keep in mind if you're looking for something to do over the weekend. The show runs from 19:15 to 21:00 at The Stand, and it's part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, so there'll be plenty of other things going on around the city at the same time. One thing to keep in mind: the venue operates a strictly over-18s policy, so make sure you've got your ID on you.
