Matthew Gallagher: Mon In

Matthew Gallagher brings his monthly show Mon In back to The Stand Comedy Club on Monday 26 October. The premise is simple: Gallagher invites four guests into his 'house' for a night of laughs, and the room is strictly over-18s.

It's not just the guests who get a turn. The night pulls in sets from some of the country's top comedians, with a surprise guest or two thrown in for good measure. Gallagher describes the format as at times interactive and occasionally innovative, so it's less of a standard line-up and more of a hosted evening that changes depending on who's in the room.

Gallagher himself returns to The Stand Glasgow after winning the ISH Best Joke competition at the Fringe, and Mon In is his monthly fixture here. If you're familiar with how the club works, you'll know the room is small and the atmosphere is close, which fits the 'house' theme of the show.

The Stand is at 420 Great Western Road, and the show runs on Monday 26 October. It's an over-18s night, so keep that in mind if you're bringing a group.
