Andrew Ryan brings his biggest and most hilarious comedy show to The Stand Comedy Club.
Andrew Ryan brings his new show, Honest Capacity, to The Stand Comedy Club on Sunday 8 November. He's a Cork comedian who's spent a fair bit of time up here — he's often called 'Cork in the North' — and this is a brand-new hour coming off the back of a total sell-out tour in 2024. He's billing it as his biggest and most hilarious show to date.
If you've come across him on social media, you're not alone; he's a regular viral hit with over 50 million views across his platforms. Beyond the clips, he hosts the Q Radio Breakfast Show and has appeared on The Two Jonnies Late Night Lock In on RTE, The Blame Game on the BBC, and Comedy Central Live. The critics have described him as 'ferociously intelligent', 'charming' and 'hilarious'.
There's a bit more to him than just the stand-up, too. He's a newlywed who can drive a golf ball 300 yards — a detail that might not seem relevant until you've seen him work a room. That mix of the radio host, the viral clips, and the live stage is what he's bringing to Glasgow this time around.

He's playing two dates at The Stand, but the Saturday show on 7 November is already sold out, so Sunday 8 November is the one to look at. Doors open at 15:00, and the show runs from 16:00 to 17:45, so it's a 105-minute set that wraps up well before the evening really gets going. The Stand is at 420 Great Western Road, G4 9HZ, and they note that, unless otherwise stated, all performances are strictly over 18s only.
