A mixed bill of some of the finest LGBTQ+ acts from the Scottish comedy circuit, hosted by comedian Kate Hammer.
All Mouth: Queer Comedy returns to The Stand Comedy Club on Thursday 26 November, bringing together a mixed bill of LGBTQ+ acts from the Scottish comedy circuit and beyond. The promoters describe the night as blending the sweet and the salty, and it's built around a rotating line-up rather than a single headliner, so you get a few different voices in one sitting.
Comedian Kate Hammer has fronted the night as host, and the show has picked up its fair share of praise along the way. The British Comedy Guide called it 'a different breed – a celebratory, exuberant and exciting space', while LMAOnaise described Hammer as a hilarious comedian and host whose night's vibes are unmatched. Broadway World summed it up as 'the best kind of silly... a beautifully diverse line-up of queer comedians showcasing chaotic joy'.
Because it's a mixed bill, the tone shifts from act to act rather than sticking to one particular style. The focus is on the Scottish queer scene, so you'll hear comedians who live and work here, alongside a few names from further afield. It's a showcase of the circuit's LGBTQ+ talent rather than a single act's solo show, which means the energy changes with every new person who takes the stage.
