Three-hour vegan cooking masterclass led by nutritional therapist Norma Gray, with all ingredients, equipment, recipes and a meal included.
Norma Gray is running a vegan cooking masterclass at Cyrenians Flavour and Haver Cook School on Friday 13 November, from 6pm to 9pm. It's a three-hour session, and you'll walk away with a full meal to eat there or take home, plus a copy of all the recipes so you can make them again.
Gray is a newly qualified nutritional therapist who previously ran a vegan meal-prep business, and she's spent years building a back catalogue of nutritionally balanced, tried-and-tested vegan recipes. On the night, she'll be teaching a flavourful tempeh dish and her own vegan tiramisu—a recipe she's iterated over many years. The session is run by Cyrenians, whose cook school uses the unrestricted funds raised by its events to support people's food journeys. Since the start of the year, that's meant over 50 cookbooks and ingredient-based gift bags for participants in its six-week Food Preparation and Budgeting Skills course, and more than 500 free three-course meals served at its weekly Lunch Club as part of its public-health approach to homelessness prevention.
