In-person cooking class led by The Edinburgh Canapé Company founder on how to make bite-size canapés for any party.
The Edinburgh Canapé Company is running a canapé cooking class at Cyrenians Flavour and Haver Cook School on Saturday 31 October, a morning session that takes you through the art of making bite-size food from scratch. It's an in-person class, so you'll be in the kitchen rather than watching from the sidelines.
The session is led by the company's founder, who walks you through how to put together beautiful, small-scale food that works for any kind of party. The focus is on the practical side of things: how to prep, how to assemble, and how to make things look the part when you're serving a crowd. If you've ever hosted a gathering and felt a bit stuck on what to put out that's easy to eat while standing up, this is exactly that sort of thing. You'll leave with the skills to handle a spread of your own, rather than relying on the usual supermarket platters.
It's held at the Cyrenians Flavour and Haver Cook School on Jane Street, in the Leith area of Edinburgh. The class runs from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm, which is three and a half hours in total—plenty of time to get stuck in without it taking over your whole day. It's a Saturday morning, so you're done by early afternoon with the rest of your weekend still in front of you.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Edinburgh and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Tickets are ÂŁ68, and the whole thing is hosted at the school's Jane Street site, 66-68 Jane Street, EH6 5HG. If you're looking to pick up some new skills for your next party, this is a solid way to spend a Saturday morning.
