A theatrical show for children based on Dermot O'Leary's best-selling book, with music and puppetry.
Toto the Ninja Cat opens at the King's Theatre on Friday 23 October, the first stop of its 2026 UK tour and its world premiere. It's a stage adaptation of Dermot O'Leary's best-selling children's book, illustrated by Nick East, and the production is a co-production between Little Angel Theatre, Mercury Theatre and Mayflower Theatre.
The story follows a hero who's different from the start: Toto is almost completely blind, but she's got incredible ninja skills, a big heart and a nose for adventure. By day she naps like any other pet, but by night she sets out on daring missions with her cheeky brother Silver. In their first adventure, a deadly King Cobra escapes onto the streets of London, and it's up to Toto to save the day. The stage version is a full family musical built on original music, laugh-out-loud fun and extraordinary puppetry, with a strong focus on visual storytelling and a message that bravery and determination matter more than physical strength. It's recommended for ages 5 and above.
