A homecoming pantomime celebrating the re-opening of the King's Theatre, featuring music, magic and fun suitable for all ages.
The Adventures of Pinocchio opens at the King's Theatre on 28 November, running through to 17 January. It's the theatre's Christmas pantomime, and this one is a homecoming: it marks the venue's re-opening, and they've put in brand-new sets and costumes for the occasion.
The cast is a familiar one for anyone who knows the Edinburgh panto scene. Jordan Young takes the title role as Pinocchio, with Allan Stewart as May Geppetto and Grant Stott as Stromboli. C.J. Borger plays Jiminy Cricket, Clare Gray is Kitty the Cat, and Gail Watson is Phyllis the Fox. It's a family-friendly show, billed with laughs, magic, music and fun, and it's suitable for all ages.
Beyond the main run, there are access performances throughout the season. That includes audio described shows with touch tours, British Sign Language performances, and a relaxed performance. If you're taking the little ones, children's tickets are £3 off, and there's a limited number of free tickets for babies 12 months and under.
