Romesh Ranganathan returns to the stage with his stand-up tour show 'Romesh Ranganathan Will Change Your Life' at the Edinburgh Playhouse.
Romesh Ranganathan is back at the Edinburgh Playhouse on 9 and 10 January 2027, with his new tour show Romesh Ranganathan Will Change Your Life. It's a two-night run at 18-22 Greenside Place, EH1 3AA, so you've got a couple of dates to choose from.
The title is where he starts leaning into the joke. He bills the show as 'scientifically proven to improve your self-esteem' and 'guaranteed to CHANGE YOUR LIFE', with the tagline inviting audiences to 'bottle up your feelings and pour them out to strangers' at theatres and arenas across the tour. He does, however, add a cheeky disclaimer: the scientific claims are based on a sample of three people who live with him and haven't been evaluated by any legal governing body. It's that kind of self-deprecating, deadpan tone that's become his trademark.
If you're not already familiar, Ranganathan has been a fixture on the UK comedy circuit for years. He was nominated for best newcomer at the 2013 Edinburgh Festival, and since then he's grown into one of the country's most recognisable comedy voices. Beyond the stand-up, he keeps busy with a few different projects: he hosts the podcast Hip-Hop Saved My Life, the Wolf & Owl podcast, and his own show on BBC Radio 2. This is a new tour show, so it's fresh material rather than a best-of.
