Romesh Ranganathan returns to the stage with his stand-up show 'Romesh Ranganathan Will Change Your Life' at the Edinburgh Playhouse.
Romesh Ranganathan is back on stage at the Edinburgh Playhouse on Saturday 9 January 2027, with his latest stand-up show, Romesh Ranganathan Will Change Your Life. It's a full-length solo set, and if you've seen him before, you know the territory he works in: sharp observational humour and a self-deprecating wit that takes the small, mundane details of everyday life and stretches them into something wry and relatable.
He's a familiar face around here, too. Back in 2013 he was nominated for best newcomer at the Edinburgh Festival, and since then he's grown into one of the country's best-known comedy voices. Outside of the live circuit, he's just as active. He hosts the popular podcast Hip-Hop Saved My Life, Wolf & Owl, and his own BBC Radio 2 show, and he's a regular on panel shows like 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Would I Lie To You, and BBC Radio 4's The Museum of Curiosity.
There's a fair bit of screen work behind him as well. He's starred in his own series for the BBC, Sky, and Dave, including the docu-comedy Asian Provocateur, which looks at his Sri Lankan roots, and the current-affairs talk show The Ranganation. So while Will Change Your Life is a stand-up show, it sits alongside a career that's moved between the stage, the radio, and the telly.
