Two-day convention for romance and fantasy book lovers with panels, book signings, vendors, workshops, cosplay and evening events.
Romantasy BookCon is coming to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 July 2027, a two-day convention built around the romantasy genre. If you're into the crossover of romance and fantasy, it's a full weekend of that in one place.
The programme runs on panels, book signings, and bookish vendors, with workshops and cosplay mixed in. There are evening events as well, so it doesn't just pack up when the main sessions end. Between the signings and the stalls, you'll find the panels and workshops, and the cosplay means plenty of people turning up as their favourite characters.

It's a two-day affair, so you can pick one day or do both. Each day runs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the evening events continuing after that. The whole thing is held at the EICC, right in the city centre, so it's easy to get to and stay around.
