Trading card convention with vendors, buying, selling and trading of Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and One Piece cards.
Edinburgh Card Show 3 is at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Sunday 7 February, from 10:00 to 16:00. It's the third edition of the trading card convention run by Northern Card Shows, who bill it as Scotland's premier gathering for collectors, fans and enthusiasts across the trading card hobby. With a capacity of 2,000, they describe it as their biggest and boldest show yet.
The day is built around the chance to buy, sell and trade cards, with the floor packed with top vendors, rare finds, vintage grails and modern hits. It's not just one game, either: the room caters to several franchises, including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and One Piece. The organisers do make one point clear, though — the show primarily caters to Pokémon card vendors, so that's where the bulk of the tables will be. It's a full day's affair, and the crowd runs from newcomers just starting their collections to seasoned pros who've been at this for years.
