Monthly discussion group run by Lavender Menace where gay, bi and queer men talk about gay books and writing, with a different theme each session.
Queer Men for Queer Literature is back at the Lavender Menace Queer Books Archive on Sunday 8 November, starting at 12:15. It's a monthly community discussion group run by Lavender Menace, the organisation behind the archive, and it's held on the second Sunday of every month.
The group is a space for gay, bi and queer men to gather and talk about gay books and gay writing, and how that writing has landed with them. There's a trans-inclusive welcome that explicitly includes trans men, trans masc and non-binary folks, so it's open to anyone who fits that description. Each session starts with a different theme or topic, and you're welcome to bring a text or an extract from a published piece of gay writing you connect with. There's no advance preparation required, so you can just turn up and join in.

The archive itself is based at the Edinburgh Palette, 151 London Road, EH7 6AE. Because it's a community-run group and places are limited, booking ahead is essential if you want to come along. The session is free, so it's just a matter of getting your spot sorted in advance. It kicks off at 12:15 on Sunday 8 November.
