Drop-in after-hours board games night at the craft studio BRSHES, where a new game is taught each night and BYOB is allowed.
BRSHES Edinburgh is running its BYOB After Hours Games Night on selected dates from 30 September 2026 through to 19 March 2027. It's a drop-in board games night at their studio on Gilmore Place, where you can turn up and get stuck in with a range of games. The BYOB part is exactly what it sounds like: bring your own drinks along and settle in for the evening.
One of the better things about it is that you don't need to be a board game regular to fit in. They teach a new game each night, so if you're a complete beginner or haven't played one in years, you'll be sorted. It's built for everyone, and the studio is beginner-friendly, so you can just show up and start playing without needing to know the rules beforehand.
BRSHES itself is an independent drop-in craft studio and creative space that specialises in unique crafting workshops and events. The games night is one of the things they do alongside that. There's also a gift shop on-site stocked with handmade artisan items — greeting cards, crystals, ceramics, jewellery, incense and tarot cards — and the space can be hired for private functions like hen dos, birthdays or group celebrations.
