Free Halloween meetup hosted by the Edinburgh 20s & 30s Meetup at The Bow Well, with costumes encouraged.
The Bow Well is hosting a Halloween meetup on Saturday 31 October, starting at 20:30. It's run by the Edinburgh 20s & 30s Meetup, a local group for people in their twenties and thirties who get together to make new friends, explore the city and try out different activities. The night is open to everyone, and while costumes are encouraged, they're not required, so you can go as far as you fancy with it.
If you're not familiar with the group, they're a social community for people in that same age bracket, and their programme runs across a fair few different things. It ranges from casual pub nights and quiz evenings to scenic walks, hikes and the odd day trip or cultural outing, with a focus on socialising, walking and discovering hidden corners of the city. This is one of those more casual nights out, and since it's a meetup, the whole point is to turn up and meet people rather than just sticking with the friends you already know.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Edinburgh and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

The venue is The Bow Well, right on the corner of West Bow and Grassmarket, which puts it in one of the most recognisable parts of the Old Town. It's a Saturday night, so it's easy to fit in around other plans, and the 20:30 start gives you plenty of time to get sorted before you head in. The night is free to attend, and because it's open to everyone, you don't need to be a regular with the group to join in. It's a straightforward way to spend Halloween in the city if you're looking for something social rather than a big party.
