Best-selling author and crime commentator Emma Kenny returns to Edinburgh with a brand-new live show exploring the darker facets of human behaviour.
Emma Kenny is back at the Edinburgh Playhouse on Sunday 15 November, bringing a brand-new live show to the city. If you've followed her work, you'll know she's a best-selling author, a psychologist, and one of the UK's leading crime commentators, and this is her first Edinburgh date since her previous tour, Killer Couples, which sold out nationwide.
This new show, Murderous Minds, takes a different angle. Rather than focusing on specific cases, it's an in-depth look at the darker side of human behaviour and the psychological underpinnings of criminal acts. Kenny describes it as probing the darkest corners of humanity, so expect her to spend the evening working through the 'why' behind the crimes rather than just the 'what'. It's the kind of thing that works best when you're in the room with her, hearing her break down the patterns that drive people to do things most of us can't even imagine.
It's a bit of a shift from her usual crime commentary, too. While she's well known for her work as a writer and commentator, this is a live stage production, and she's the sole feature of the night. If you're into true crime, psychology, or just the question of what actually goes on in a criminal mind, this is exactly her territory.
