Joshua Burnell plays The Voodoo Rooms with his band on his Misty Mountain Tour, named after his Tolkien-influenced album.
Joshua Burnell plays The Voodoo Rooms on Wednesday 23 October, as part of his Misty Mountain Tour. He'll be accompanied by his band, so it's a full-band set rather than a solo one.
The tour takes its name from the Tolkien-influenced songs on Burnell's new album, and those tracks sit at the heart of the set. It's a nod to the Middle-earth that runs through the record, and the tour title carries that through to the stage.

As for the venue, The Voodoo Rooms are an award-winning bar, restaurant and live music venue in the heart of Edinburgh New Town, housed in a historic building just off the east end of Princes Street. They opened in November 2007 with the aim of boosting the city's vibrant bar, restaurant and live music scene, and now comprise six large rooms and four bars: The Main Bar & Restaurant Room, The Speakeasy, The French Quarter and The Ballroom & Ballroom Bar. The gig is on Wednesday 23 October, so it's a mid-week night in the New Town.
