New stand-up show 'Looking For Trouble' from BAFTA and Perrier Award-winning comedian Dylan Moran, star of 'Black Books'.
Dylan Moran brings his new show, Looking For Trouble, to Assembly Roxy on Saturday 27 November. It's a brand new stand-up set from the BAFTA and Perrier Award-winning comedian, who many of us will recognise as the star of Black Books.
If you've seen him before, you'll know the territory he works in. The reviews for Looking For Trouble lean into that: Metro called it 'joyfully cynical', The i described it as 'perfect for the times', and The Guardian went with 'superb'. The Telegraph summed up his take on the human condition by noting that he 'reduces life to four ages: Child, failure, old and dead'. It's that same dry, observational style he's known for, just with new material.
For those who only know him from Black Books, it's worth remembering he's a stand-up first. The Perrier Award is one of the biggest in comedy, and the BAFTA sits alongside it, so this is a seasoned pro on stage rather than a TV face doing a turn. Looking For Trouble is the new show he's taking around, and this is one of the dates it's stopping at in Edinburgh.

The show is at The Roxy Theatre within Assembly Roxy, with the performance starting at 20:00. It's a Saturday night, so it's a good one to build an evening around.
