High-octane AC/DC tribute show devoted to the Bon Scott era, supported by hard rock covers band Too Late To Atone.
High Voltage are playing Bannermans Bar on Friday 6 August, with support from Too Late To Atone. It's an AC/DC tribute night, and the headliners describe themselves as Scotland's premier act for the band, with a set devoted to the raw power and energy of the Bon Scott era.
Opening the night is Too Late To Atone, a hard rock covers band from the Dunfermline area that plays 80s classic rock. Between them, the two bands cover a good stretch of hard rock territory, from the AC/DC classics of the 70s through to the 80s sound Too Late To Atone bring to the table.
The venue is Bannermans Bar, 202 Cowgate in Edinburgh's Old Town. It's a rock and whisky bar that runs live music six nights a week and often fills up, and it keeps a full backline, a 5K P.A. and a lighting rig on hand. The programming there mixes up-and-coming local talent with rising national stars and established acts, so it's a spot that sees a fair bit of variety across the week.
