Screening of Julia Bacha's film 'Boycott' followed by a discussion on the impact of organised boycott within the Palestinian liberation struggle.
Collective Space is hosting a screening of Julia Bacha's film Boycott on Sunday 1 November, from 3pm to 5pm. The film is presented as part of Filmlab Palestine's 'Cinema Days Across the World', a programme that takes cinema out of the traditional cinema and into different spaces across the city.
Boycott looks at the impact of anti-boycott legislation and at everyday Americans standing up to protect their rights. The screening is followed by a discussion on the importance and impact of organised boycott within the Palestinian liberation struggle, so the session runs for two hours in total. It's an in-person event, and the discussion comes after the film, which gives you a chance to talk through what you've just seen with other people in the room.

The screening takes place in the downstairs Studio at Collective Space, 21 Albert Street, Edinburgh EH7 5LH. A practical note before you head over: there's no lift, and the Studio isn't wheelchair accessible. It's a Sunday afternoon slot, 3pm to 5pm, so you'll be out well before the evening starts. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
