Fangs Out Horror Film Club: Halloween Meeting

Fangs Out Horror Film Club are back at The Raging Bull on Tuesday 20 October, and this is the one they've been building towards. The club meets monthly, with each night built around a horror film that the room then discusses together, but the Halloween meeting is their biggest of the year. It takes the usual format and adds a costume contest and a raffle with prizes from local small businesses into the mix.

The film on the table this time is the horror classic Trick 'r Treat, so that's what the discussion will centre on. Alongside that, there's the club's regular horror pub quiz, which runs at every meeting, and the costume contest, which only comes out for the Halloween special. The raffle prizes are donated by local small businesses, so it's a bit of a community affair as much as a movie night.

It's a long evening, running from 6pm to 10pm at The Raging Bull, 161 Lothian Road, EH3 9AA. Tickets are £2.88 via Eventbrite, and the organisers ask that you buy a drink from the bar to support the venue. Between the film talk, the quiz, the costume contest, and the raffle, there's plenty to keep you going over the four hours.
