Monthly book group for gay and bisexual men aged 16 and over, held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at The Outhouse.
The Edinburgh Gay Men's Book Group meets at The Outhouse on Wednesday 28 October, starting at 19:00. It's a monthly gathering for gay and bisexual men aged 16 and over in Scotland, run by community members with support from LGBT Health and Wellbeing. The group meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month, alternating between in-person sessions at The Outhouse and online meetings via Zoom, and the discussions are sometimes joined by guest authors.
There's more to it than just the books, too. The group runs a regular programme of in-person social events alongside the monthly meetings, with meals, walks and trips to the cinema or theatre. It's trans-inclusive and welcomes all men in the LGBTQ+ community, as well as people exploring their gender identity or who don't use labels. If you're looking for a way to meet other gay and bi men in the city around reading and socialising, this is a good place to start.
