Fever, the string quartet of the Belford String Quartet, plays a candlelit tribute to Christmas movie soundtracks in the former church of the Assembly Roxy.
Fever are bringing a candlelight tribute to Christmas movie soundtracks to Assembly Roxy on Friday 11 December, with two performances that evening at 18:00 and 20:30. The Belford String Quartet take the stage, and the set is built around the soundtracks of some of the most recognisable Christmas films. You'll hear White Christmas from Holiday Inn, All I Want for Christmas Is You from Love Actually, Carol of the Bells from Home Alone, and a medley from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
It's a tribute concert, not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the original artists, their estates or official representatives. The Candlelight series is built as a live, multi-sensory musical experience, staged in awe-inspiring locations and performed under the gentle glow of countless candles. The Assembly Roxy, in Edinburgh's Old Town, occupies a striking former church defined by classic stone masonry and serves as one of the city's central cultural venues.
