Swedish death metal band Avatar play the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on Newmarket Road with their Don't Go In The Forest Tour.
Avatar bring their Don't Go In The Forest tour to the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on Sunday 29 November, with doors opening at 19:00 and a curfew of 23:00. It's a Swedish death metal band, and they're the only name on the bill for the night.
They formed in Gothenburg back in 2001, so they've been at this for a good while. Over the years, the group has gone through several line-up changes, but they've kept their sound entirely their own throughout. If you've followed them for any length of time, you'll know that's a fair point to make — they don't sound like much else in the metal world, and they've held onto that particular identity even as the people on stage have shifted.
