The UK's original bingo rave, with the original rules plus rave intervals, dance-offs, sing-alongs and big prizes, at the Corn Exchange.
Bongo's Bingo is back at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange with a long run of dates starting today, Friday 23 October. It's the UK's original bingo rave, an award-winning twist on the traditional game that keeps the original rules but fills the gaps with rave intervals, awkward dance-offs, sing-a-longs, big money and ridiculous prizes. The press has been on it for years: Heat called it 'the craze that is quite literally sweeping the nation' and the Evening Standard described it as 'a riotous night you won't forget in a hurry'.
If you've never been, the format is straightforward: you play bingo as usual, but between the numbers, the room turns into a rave. The dance-offs are just that — awkward and meant to be — and the sing-a-longs get everyone involved. The prizes are where it gets weird, and the big money is the real draw. It's as much about what happens between the calls as it is about the bingo itself.
There are plenty of dates to choose from if today doesn't work. After tonight, they're back on Saturday 14 November, Saturday 20 November, Saturday 28 November, Saturday 11 December and Sunday 12 December. The run continues into the new year with Sunday 23 January, Sunday 29 January, Saturday 12 February and Saturday 19 February. Tickets tend to sell out fast, and there are VIP packages available if you want to upgrade your night.
