Ruby Wax shares the moments that shaped her life with humour, heart and her unmistakable edge, followed by an audience Q&A.
Ruby Wax is coming to the Assembly Rooms on Friday 20 November, for an evening she describes as sharing the moments that shaped her life with humour, heart and her unmistakable edge.
It's a wide-reaching set that draws on several different lives. There's the trailblazing career as a comedian and TV personality, the bestselling author, and the mental health campaigner. The night mixes honest conversation and big laughs with reflections on fame, therapy and the human mind, and it closes with an audience Q&A in which she takes questions from the room.
If you've followed her work, you'll recognise the threads she's pulling from. The comedy comes from that early career, the writing from the books, and the mental health advocacy from her more recent public life. The Q&A at the end means the night doesn't just end when she stops talking; she'll be answering questions from the crowd before the lights go up.
