Author E. L. James visits Waterstones Edinburgh West End to celebrate the publication of her new novel 'Land of Ghosts'.
E. L. James is coming to Waterstones Edinburgh West End on Monday 19 October, one of the few times she'll be in the city this autumn. She's here to mark the publication of her new novel, Land of Ghosts, and the evening is built around that.
If you're not already up to speed, Land of Ghosts is described as a story about love, loss and an impossible romance that defies even death itself. It's a fair way from the Fifty Shades of Grey series that made her a household name, and the evening is an occasion to hear her talk about the new book rather than look back at the old ones. It's a chance to get a sense of where she's gone with this one and what went into it.
For those who've followed her work since the beginning, it's a good moment to see how her writing has shifted. Fifty Shades put her on the map, but Land of Ghosts is the one she's out promoting now, and that's what will be the focus of the night. If you've already picked up a copy, it's a chance to hear her talk through it; if you haven't, it's a good place to start.
