Midnight launch of 'A Court of Splintered Harmony' at Waterstones, with a themed quiz, drinks, nibbles and a costume competition.
Waterstones Edinburgh West End is hosting a midnight release for A Court of Splintered Harmony on Monday 26 October, the sixth book in Sarah J. Maas's A Court of Thorns and Roses series. The shop opens at 22:00 and the tills run through the night, so you can browse the shelves until the stroke of midnight when the new book officially arrives.
It's built as a full night for the series' collectors and enthusiasts rather than just a quick pick-up. Along with the release, there's an ACOTAR-themed quiz, drinks and nibbles, and a sprayed edge workshop. Sarah J. Maas won't be attending, so the focus is on the community side of things.
There's also a costume competition in the mix: anyone turning up in themed outfits from the books is encouraged to enter, with a prize for the best Prythian fashion. Whether you've followed the series from the start or are just getting into it, the night is set up for fans to gather and wait for the new instalment together.
