Trick or Treat Storytime

Trick or Treat Storytime is at the Whetstone branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library on Wednesday, October 28, from 7 PM to 7:45 PM. It's a Halloween-themed storytime for families, and the reading is just the first half of the night: once the stories are done, you get to trick-or-treat through the library. The library encourages everyone to come in costume for the extra fun, so it's a good excuse to get the kids dressed up and out of the house on a Wednesday evening.

This is part of the Columbus Metropolitan Library's broader Holiday and Family programming, which they've built out with sessions tailored to different age groups, from newborns up to six years old. If you've got little ones, it's worth keeping that in mind when you're looking at their other family events this season—they're not all one-size-fits-all. This particular one is a short, 45-minute window, so it's an easy one to fit into a weeknight without it taking over your whole evening.

If you're planning to go, the Whetstone branch is at 3909 North High Street, 43214. The storytime runs from 7 PM to 7:45 PM, and the trick-or-treating follows right after.
