Family storytime session with books and activities to build early reading skills for infants, toddlers and young children.
Family Storytime is back at the Columbus Metropolitan Library's Main Library on Saturday, November 7, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. It's a half-hour session that brings families together around books and activities designed to build early reading skills, so it's as much about the reading as it is about the doing.
If you're not familiar with how it works, this is part of the library's broader children's programming. They run age-grouped sessions for infants, toddlers, and young children, which means you can find a group that fits your child's stage of development rather than one that's too fast or too slow. The whole point is to get the whole family involved, so it's meant for parents and caregivers to be right there in the mix with their kids.
