Scioto Arts Market: Halloween / Fall / Harvest

Scioto Arts Market returns to Land-Grant Brewing Company on Saturday, October 17, from 11 AM to 2 PM. This edition is themed around Halloween, fall, and harvest, so expect the tables to lean into the season. It's a free pop-up that brings art, shopping, food, and community to downtown Columbus, usually featuring more than 70 local artists, makers, bakers, nonprofits, and food trucks. Each market is themed to highlight different facets of local culture and causes, which keeps the experience fresh even if you've been to several.

This particular market is part of the event's second season, which runs on the third Saturday of each month from May through October. If you've followed it since the spring, you know the drill: a big mix of local vendors gathered in one spot for a few hours on a Saturday morning. The Halloween and harvest theme should be in full swing by mid-October, so it's a good time to pick up some early holiday gifts or just browse what the city's makers have been working on.

The venue is Land-Grant Brewing Company, a taproom and beer garden in the East Franklinton neighborhood known for its rotating beers, cocktails, ciders, and on-site food trucks. One of those is Ray Ray's Hog Pit, which Food & Wine named the best BBQ in Ohio. The outdoor beer garden, Gravity Park, hosts pickleball, 3-on-3 basketball, and cornhole leagues, while the Wintergarden turns the patio into a winter oasis of heated igloos and fire pits. The brewery is family-friendly until 8 PM and 21+ after that.
