Weekly outdoor flea market with around 200 dealers selling clothing, housewares, tools, electronics and fresh produce at the historic drive-in.
The South Drive-In Flea Market is open every Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday from 5 AM to 1 PM at the South Drive-In Theatre, 3050 S High St in Columbus. It's run by Rainbow Venues & Concessions, LLC, and has been billed as the city's largest outdoor yard and garage sale since the 1970s. Around 200 dealers set up here, with clothing, footwear, housewares, tools, electronics, computers, art, photography, and fresh produce on the tables. You can also bring your own used items to sell for cash.
It's a big one—it takes at least two hours to walk the whole thing, so give yourself plenty of time. Dealers start arriving as early as 5 AM, and the early buyers are out there scavenging for bargains in the dark. If you're looking for something specific, you'll likely find it; if you're just browsing, you'll probably walk away with a few things you didn't know you needed.
If you want to sell, a 10' x 20' space is $14 per day on Saturday and Sunday, and $8 on Wednesday—you save $3 by registering online. For buyers, parking is $3 per carload in the back lot on Saturday and Sunday, or $2 per person at the front gate; on Wednesday, those drop to $2 and $1, respectively.

The market is part of the South Drive-In, the only remaining drive-in theatre in Columbus. It's a twin-screen venue that's been running since 1950, showing two movies per night on each screen—three on occasion—and it's well-known for a highly rated, reasonably priced concession stand. The site also runs a drive-in movie season that opens in April. The flea market runs every Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday from 5 AM to 1 PM, with special markets on Memorial Day and Labor Day.
