Trivia night inspired by a film followed by an outdoor movie screening under the stars at Land-Grant Beer Garden.
Land-Grant Beer Garden is hosting Tuesday Trivia and A Movie on Tuesday, October 27, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. It's a two-part night: a trivia round inspired by a movie, followed by a screening of that same movie on the big screen outdoors under the stars, weather permitting. If you've got a favorite film and a group to play with, it's a good way to spend a Tuesday evening in Franklinton.
Land-Grant Brewing Company is a Columbus craft brewery and beer garden in Franklinton, a local staple that's held its own for years. It was named Columbus Underground's Top Columbus Brewery for 2021-2025 and 614 Magazine's Best Local Brewery for 2023-2026. Men's Journal even called it the #1 brewery with the coolest on-site games, which makes sense when you see what they've got going on. The taproom has indoor space with a fire, and the outdoor beer garden features brewery curling and an igloo for when the weather turns. The brand also runs The Extension, a newer venue for its Cultivation Series of beers and a lineup of cocktails, ciders, and wines. They're also partners with the Franklinton Arts District through their Let's Give: Local Artist and Musician Fund.

The night itself is straightforward. The trivia is themed around the movie they'll be showing, so you can test your knowledge before you actually watch the film. The screening happens outside on the big screen, so keep in mind that it's weather-dependent. It runs from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM at Land-Grant Beer Garden, 424 W. Town St., Columbus, OH 43215.
