Impressionism-inspired painting class capturing the light and colors of autumn, with a DIY candle add-on.
Pinot's Palette Short North is hosting a paint-and-sip class called Scarlet Autumn on Monday, October 19, from 7 PM to 9 PM. The painting is an impressionism-inspired piece that captures the light and colors of autumn, meant to bring a warm seasonal glow to your home. You don't need any painting experience to join in, and all the supplies are included in the price.
The session is set up for you to relax with friends, have some drinks, and listen to upbeat music while you work. You'll be guided through the painting, so you can just let your creativity take over without worrying about the technical side. It's the kind of thing that works as a low-pressure night out—something to do with a group of friends or a date when you're not in the mood for the usual dinner-and-drinks routine.
If you want to make a full evening of it, there's an optional DIY Candle Experience you can add for $25. If you go for that, you'll need to arrive 30 minutes early to pour your own custom-scented, all-natural soy candle, which you'll get to take home along with your painting.
