Paint and sip class in which participants paint 'Harmony in Bloom' while enjoying a drink, with a DIY soy candle add-on.
Pinot's Palette is hosting Harmony in Bloom on Tuesday, October 27, at 9 PM. It's part of their Paint and Sip series, so the format is exactly what it sounds like: you paint a canvas while you drink, and you leave with your finished piece. The session is held at their Short North studio, 691 N High St, in the heart of the Short North Arts District.
If you want to make a night of it, there's a DIY candle add-on for $25. If you go for that, you'll arrive 30 minutes before the class starts to pour your own all-natural soy candle. The candle cures while you paint, so by the time you're done, you walk away with both the painting and your custom hand-poured candle. It's a nice way to stretch the evening into something more than just a single class.

On the practical side, Pinot's Palette provides aprons, but keep in mind that acrylic paint doesn't wash out of clothing, so you might want to wear something you don't mind getting a stray drop on. The class starts at 9 PM, and if you're doing the candle, you'll want to be there by 8:30 PM.
