Halloween-themed paint and sip session where participants paint a haunted campfire scene.
Pinot's Palette is hosting a Halloween-themed paint and sip session on Friday, October 30, titled Haunted Campfire. The whole night is built around one specific image: ghosts toasting marshmallows over a campfire. That's what you'll be painting—a little ghostly gathering around the fire, with the marshmallows as the centerpiece. It's a straightforward, guided session, so you'll be working your way through the scene step by step, and you don't need any prior painting experience to get it done.
Since it's a paint and sip, the painting is only half the story. You'll have your drink in one hand and your brush in the other, and the whole thing is meant to be social. It's as much about hanging out with friends as it is about the art, and the Halloween theme gives it a bit of a party feel. If you've never done a paint and sip before, the format is pretty simple: you follow along with the instructor, take breaks to sip your drink, and end up with a finished piece to take home.

The session runs from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, so it's a late-night thing that fits right into the Halloween weekend. You'll find it at Pinot's Palette, 691 N High St, in the Short North area of Columbus. If you're already planning your October 31, this is a good way to kick things off a night early.
